Financial Stewardship is an 11 week class on money management taught from a comprehensive biblical perspective. DivorceCare

Here is an overview of the DivorceCare experience: You’ll discover there are people who understand your hurts, emotions and painful experiences! In divorce, it’s common to feel isolated. In DivorceCare, you’ll find that you are not alone, that there are others who understand what you are going through. You’ll learn helpful, practical information that will help you recover from your separation or divorce. The DivorceCare videos feature top experts on divorce and recovery subjects and case studies of people just like you, who have been through the divorce experience. You’ll have the chance to talk about your experiences. It can be very healing to tell others what you are going through. The support group sessions include a time to talk about what you’ve seen on the DivorceCare videos and what is going on in your life. And while you have the opportunity to tell your story, there’s never pressure for you to do so if you don’t feel like it. DivorceCare is led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You will learn how to heal from the deep hurt of divorce and discover hope for your future. You’ll become part of a “family.” DivorceCare group members often tell us that they feel like their group has become a family, that they made new friends, and are around people they can relate to. DivorceCare is designed to be a safe environment, and dating relationships between group participants are not encouraged (to allow you time to focus on your personal healing).

Winter Weekend

Winter Weekend is a time for multiple Middle School and High School student ministries in the region from different churches to come together in unity for PRAYER, ENCOURAGEMENT, EMPOWERMENT, and RELATIONSHIP. THIS YEAR'S THEME IS – Dunamis – Miraculous Power of God In Acts 1:8, Jesus imparts dunamis to His disciples to equip them for evangelism. “But you will receive power [dunamis] when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." This is what students can expect to experience during this FREE 2-Day event: ***Friday, February 7th, 5:30pm-8:30pm*** South Bay Church, 13498 US-301, Riverview, FL 33578 What to expect: Fellowship over dinner with your friends and other students, engaging in fun and games, entering the presence of God during live worship, hearing an encouraging word and lots of fun. ***Saturday, February 8th, 11:30am-4:30pm*** Drop Off & Pick Up at Relevant Church, 1704 N 16th St, Tampa, FL 33605. What to expect: Participating in team building and bonding, A Catered Lunch and break-out sessions. Students will experience the presence of God during live worship, and closing our time together in unity with prayer. What a great opportunity to fellowship with students from other local churches and kick off the Winter Break as the first school semester ends! **All students must be registered to attend and are encouraged to invite their friends who do not attend church to register as well. This Winter Weekend we'll truly see the move of the Holy Spirit as the many Student Bodies of Christ become one!
